Objective(s): To gain a better understanding of the geology and technical properties of ice bearing permafrost.

Project Description: A geotechnical investigation of permafrost and ground ice will be undertaken in a two component study: an Electrical-Methods (EM) sounding and a down-hole logging program that will include an EM and a vertical seismic profiling log. The purpose of the work is to gain a better understanding of the geology and technical properties of ice bearing permafrost.
