Objective(s): To investigate the origin of massive ground ice in the Tuktoyaktuk Peninsula area and northern Richards Island.

Project Description: Measurements of slope and ground temperature will be collected at three sites located east of Tuktoyaktuk and on northern Richards Island. Selection of the sites will be determined in the field but are expected to be at a location south of Gruben's fish camp in Eskimo Lakes and at the west end of Richards Island at North Head.
