Objectif(s): To produce a geological map (1:50,000 scale) of an area with potential for diamonds and precious or base-metal deposits; to identify and document mineral occurrences; to increase the geological knowledge and database in the NWT; to stimulate industry exploration in the area.
Description du projet: The research team will examine, document and take samples of the surface outcrops (rocks) in the study area. This information will be recorded on a map which will summarize the geological rock types and mineral resources of the area.
