Objective(s): To produce a geological map of an area with potential for diamond and precious or base metal deposits; to identify and document mineral occurences; to increase geological knowledge and database in the NWT; and to stimulate industry development in the area.
Project Description: The research team will exmaine, document and sample surface outcrops in the study area. The information will be recorded on a map which will summarize the geological rock-types and mineral resources of the area.
