Objective(s): To produce a geological map (1:50,000 scale) of an area with potential for precious or base metal deposits; to identify and document mineral occurrences; to increase the geological knowledge and database in the NWT; to stimulate industry exploration in the area; area;
Project Description: The research will involve the examination, documentation and surface sampling of outcrops in the study area. The information will be recorded on a map which will summarize the geological rock types and mineral resources of the area.
