Objective(s): To produce a geological map (1:50,000 scale) of an area with potential for precious or base metal deposits; to identify and document mineral occurrences; to increase the geological knowledge and data base in the N.W.T.; to stimulate industry exploration in the area;
Project Description: The geological research team will examine, document and sample surface outcrops in the study area. This information will be recorded on a map which will assist to identify mineral resources and the existence of precious or base metal deposits.
