Objectif(s): To continue field research on permafrost along the Western Arctic Coast; to understand the origin of permafrost; the ice within permafrost and the processes that help create the present geocryologic environment.
Description du projet: The Researcher and his team will continue field research on permafrost, along the Western Arctic Coast. They will study the growth of permafrost, pingos and ice wedges.
