Objective(s): To examine the temporal frequency and spatial distribution of skin flows on this part of Ellesmere Island; to measure morphology of skinflows; and to extract cores from skinflows to determine age.

Project Description: Over time, hillsides slowly collapse for various reasons. Dr. Lewkowicz and his assistants are looking for a certain type of slope failure called skinflows. They want to know map the locations of skinflows in this area and they are going to measure them and determine their age by extracting some soil samples.
