Project Description: The objective of this research is to document Matthews Creek stages and discharges on a single creek transect, and download the data from and maintain the existing meteorological station. This research will attempt to provide baseline information for the area. Total of three site visits are planned in the summer of 2008. Aircraft (wheeled and/or float plane) will be used to bring in a two person team and necessary equipment to the site. During the site visit tasks will include: creek discharges measurements, meteorological station and all-weather precipitation gauge inspections, data downloads from the data logger and any necessary maintenance will be performed. Copies of the research will be available by contacting the researcher. This fieldwork will be conducted from July 11 to September 30, 2008, at the Matthews Creek Project Site, situated between Courageous Lake and Matthews Lake, NT. The base camp is at the Seabridge Gold Inc. project site, NT.
