Objective(s): This program is intended to provide post-baseline aquatic data for 13 lakes as part of the Aquatic Effects Monitoring Program, to provide comprehensive baseline aquatic data for five lakes, and to provide complete routine monitoring of the Panda Diversion Channel. The program at the EKATI Diamond Mine is designed to detect any undesirable changes in the water and/or aquatic life around the mine. Data obtained from the fieldwork will provide information to assess potential effects that mining may have on the aquatic environment within these aquatic waterbodies.
