Objective(s): The objective of the program is to continue collecting environmental measurements pertaining to aquatic and terrestrial resources. Information gathered during field sampling will build on existing information and will be used to; 1) contribute to the baseline data available for assessing and managing future potential environmental effects during construction and operations; 2) determine the natural range of variability for a number of environmental parameters; 3) identify potential mitigation to reduce impacts to the surrounding environment; 4) develop a monitoring program for measuring environmental effects associated with the Snap Lake Diamond Project; and 5) contribute to regional studies for assessing and managing potential cumulative effects.
