Objective(s): To better understand the geology of the area.
Project Description: The research will involve measuring the thickness of the rocks, identify the rock types, observe the structures within the rocks and collect samples for additional laboratory analyses. Most of the work will be conducted using helicopter support out of Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk, visiting the sites on a daily basis. If some sites require more than one day's work I will set up a small two-man camp for two or three nights.
