Objective(s): To document shoreline changes over a 10-20 year interval at a series of locations around Barrow Strait where benchmarks were established in the 1970's; to better document the physical characteristics of the shores fringing the Arctic ocean;
Project Description: The researcher and his team will search for new evidence pertaining to the recent history of relative sea level so that a Holocene sea level curve can be constructed for the Arctic Island shores.
