Objective(s): To document shoreline changes over a 10-20 year interval at a series of locations throughout the Arctic Islands where benchmarks were established in the 1970's; to examine in detail the coastal characteristics of the shores fringing the Arctic Ocean to determine coastal evolution and sea level history and to look for evidence of recent trends in relative sea level;
Project Description: The Researcher will document shoreline changes over a 10-20 year interval at a series of locations throughout the Arctic Islands. Detailed examination of the coastal characteristics of the shores fringing the Arctic Ocean will also be undertaken.
