Objective(s): To continue installation of long term thaw depth monitoring stations; to gather proxy data on environmental change in recent past.
Project Description: The Researchers will make observations at sites installed north of Inuvik last season. They will install active layer monitoring stations between Inuvik and Fort Norman. Investigation of shot hole access and installation of active layer monitoring stations will be carried out around Hot Weather Creek.
