Objective(s): To study past burned areas east of the Mackenzie River , 20 km south of Inuvik and northward to approximately one half the distance between Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk; to determine if post-fire spruce establishment has occured not only on areas formally dominated by spruce, but also on larger areas that were formerly tundra;
