Objectif(s): To continue the study of the geology of Cretaceous and Tertiary rocks of southern Baffin Island near Cape Dyer and to include beds on the north coast of Baffin Island near Pond Inlet and on the southwest shore of Bylot Island. For this study systematic collection of strato of the Hassel and Kanguk formations and Eureka Sound Group from Bylot Island for detailed sedimentology and palynology is proposed for July 1987.
