Objectif(s): To complete in 1995 and 1996 long term studies on the origin of permafrost, the ice found within permafrost and processes that help to create the present geocryologic environment.

Description du projet: This permafrost study has been part of a long-term study first initiated in 1951. The researcher will collect data that will allow a better understanding of the growth of the ice wedges, pingos and permafrost.
