Objectif(s): To understand the rates of coastal change in the region, particularly with regard to the outbuilding of the Mackenzie Delta and the erosion of the Tuktoyaktuk Peninsula.

Description du projet: The researchers will examine the rate of coastal change in the outer Mackenzie Delta region in order to understand the factors contributing to present delta formation and coastal erosion, and to understand how global climate warming may affect coastal change. Surveys on beaches, sand bars and delta lakes will be conducted.
