Objective(s): To define the late Quaternary stratigraphy of the Mackenzie Delta and adjacent coast; to understand the sedimentary processes of the outer delta and adjacent coast.

Project Description: The purpose of this project is to understand how the Mackenzie Delta and adjacent coastal regions have developed over the last 18,000 years, since the last glaciation affected the region. The project will includes investigating the sub-surface development of the delta and studying the processes by which sediment supplied by the river is transported to the continental shelf and coastal waters.
