The research team will resume mapping bedrock and surficial geology at 1:50,000 and 1:250,000 scales, continuing a project begun in the summer of 2000. Research involves mapping and sampling of rocks for geological study. Equipment and all crew members will be transported to and removed from base camps by float plane (twin or turbine otter).
