1. to understand how the women who are participating in this research learned their crafts,
2. to explore how this knowledge is/was transferred to them,
3. to discuss how artisans of a traditional craft impact the community, and
4. to reconnect with the traditional crafts I grew up with and learn from their experiences as artisans.
