Objective(s): This project has been initiated as a first step in selecting a pipeline route between the M18 gas discovery and Parsons Lake. Currently, aerial photographs are available for the area in question. However, this LiDAR project will provide more detailed data. While construction of a pipeline from M18 to Parsons Lake will not occur for several years, the LiDAR project will allow Devon to begin selecting the most environmentally sensitive route now. This work will be coordinated with similar work carried out by Mackenzie Gas Project.
