Objective(s): To learn more about the Paticipatory Action Research (PAR) approach which the Dene Cultural Institute uses in its community-based research projects. To the Dene Cultural Institute, PAR is a collaborative research method in which community members are co- investigators in projects which record and document the knowledge which exists within Dene communites.
Project Description: During the second year of this internship, the researcher will be volunteering in various stages of ongoing research projects being supported by the Dene Cultural Institute .
