Objective(s): To assess the present status of health-related knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours of children and youth in the NWT; to assess the present status of the strategy, `The NWT School Health Program'.

Project Description: The resarchers will continue their study, started in 1992, on assessing the health-related knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours of children and youth in the NWT. Data will be collected through a survey administered through NWT schools. Teachers will also be surveyed with regard to the implementation of the NWT School Health Program. Researchers from selected communities will be trained to conduct interviews and administrate questionnaires.
