Objective(s): To determine: (1) the current status of permafrost landforms; (2) the characteristics of movement, microclimate and vegetation on solifluction lobes; and (3) the characteristics of the vegetation and sites from CANOL disturbances.

Project Description: The research has several components including the collection of data on permafrost landforms, soil movements, microclimate and vegetation response to human-induced disturbances associated with the development of the Canol Road.
