Objective(s): Objectives were to: (1) do a retrospective review of the tuberculosis out-break in Repulse Bay by reviewing information available through hospital records from the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre, the Central Tuberculosis Registry, and the nursing records at Repulse Bay and Rankin Inlet; and (2) outline the tuberculosis out-break that occurred in 1988-89 in order to obtain information that may be helpful in preventing such out-breaks in the future.

Project Description: Through the review of hospital records, we will outline the tuberculosis out-break that occurred in Repulse Bay during 1988-89. The study may provide information that may be helpful in preventing such out-breaks in the future.
