Objective(s): To determine how climate warming may impact the activities of the community, with special emphasis on aboriginal subsistence activities; to determine where the residents feel their activities are vulnerable to a warmer climate; to determine the ability of the community to adapt to possible changes in the future climate;

Project Description: The researcher will examine the ability of an aboriginal community to adapt to climate change by documenting past events which have been influenced by the climate. These events will be probed through the oral histories of the community members, especially elders. The views and perceptions as held by the community members, concerning future changes in climate will be determined.
