Objective(s): To collect stratigraphic and sedimentologic data relevant to the understanding of upper Paleozoic depositional systems in the Sverdrup Basin;
Project Description: The Researcher and team will measure thickness of strata and collect rock samples from various localities on northwestern Ellesmere Island. The purpose of the work is to understand and reconstruct the geography of the area between 325 and 245 million years ago.
