Objective(s): To understand new learning models evolving in Inuit culture today (specifically for 1991 season, to focus on seasonal cycle and linguistic aspects of these models);

Project Description: This project will continue to study processes of learning in an Inuit community today. It will focus on various learning settings (e.g., land, settlement, school) and groups of learners (e.g., adults learning new skills, school students). Features given specific attention will be native educator roles, both traditional and professional and bridging language forms, both oral and written.
