Objective(s): To survey Frobisher Bay vicinity for Frobisher sites and contemporary Inuit sites; to conduct resource surveys; to study the geology and botany; to conduct a preliminary oral history and land use study.
Project Description: The Researcher and his team will elucidate the earliest European settlement of the region and study its impact on local Inuit culture and history. They will collaborate with local educational, research and cultural institutions.
