Project Description: Dr. Kuhnlein and her team will study the foods in the traditional food system of the Dene people of Fort Good Hope/Colville Lake for their composition and patterns of use. Nutritional properties as well as toxicological properties will be assessed. Household and personal food use interviews previously collected will be analyzed using nutrient and toxicology data of food samples from the Dene area.
