Objectif(s): To investigate the spatial and temporal relationships between plant species distribution and age of raised beach; to measure plant composition and vegetation structure on different sites on a raised beach; to evaluate the hypothesis that vegetation development on raised beaches is influenced more by site characteristics than by time.

Description du projet: Dr. Pearce and her associate are returning to Truelove Lowland to evaluate an idea that plant associations growing on raised beaches of different ages are a result of the type of soil and water conditions they are growing on rather than the amount of time that they have had to live there.
