Description du projet: The investigator will measure change in the ground due to uplift, by the growth of a pingo and from side to side by the ground cooling in winter. Air, ground water and lake temperatures will be measured. This information will be used to understand how permafrost is responding to climate variation. Travel to sites is by helicopter and snow machine. At the site the investigators will stay at a cabin and walk to the measurement sites.
