Objectif(s): To continue to examine the benthic marine fish community located in the shallow waters of Resolute Bay; to determine the abundance and distribution patterns of benthic fish species; to examine the species Gymnelus viridis in more detail.
Description du projet: As part of a long-term study, I will continue to make underwater observations of the benthic fishes found in the shallow waters of Resolute Bay. Some fish will be collected for further laboratory studies in order to examine their food habits, growth rates and population growth rates. The species Gymnelus viridis will be studied in greater detail.
