Objectif(s): To evaluate the origins, the current planning, policy and management, and the future of Canadian World Heritage Sites; to visit Wood Buffalo National Park and Nahanni National Park Reserve in order to interview on-site personnel about resource management issues and regional characteristics of these Heritage Sites.

Description du projet: As part of a study that includes all Canadian World Heritage Sites, the researcher will visit Wood Buffalo National Park and Nahanni National Park Reserve in order to study current resource management issues. The researcher will conduct interviews with park personnel to gain first-hand knowledge and appreciation of the regional characteristics of these sites as well as specific management issues.
