Objectif(s): To describe the population structure and characteristics of the major fish species in Fish and Raddi Lakes; to determine potential yields of the major fish species in the lakes; to establish a database on stock identity and distribution of charr from Banks Island; to take tissue samples of fish collected for future contaminant studies.

Description du projet: Fish populations in Fish and Raddi Lakes, located in the vicinity of Sachs Harbour, will be surveyed to determine their population characteristics. In addition, arctic charr will be collected for genetic analyses and assessment of physical differences in charr of the region. Tissue samples will be collected for future contaminant studies.
