Objectif(s): To examine the record of past environmental change preserved in the soils and lake sediments of the Truelove Lowland and adjacent areas of the northeast coast of Devon Island with the object of reconstructing the environmental changes in this part of the High Arctic over the last 40,000 years.
Description du projet: Dr. King and his team will continue their study of the record of past environmental changes preserved in the sediments of the Truelove Lowland. Once again the focus of their field work will be the sediments that have accumulated in the larger, deeper lakes and the soils in the areas surrounding these lakes.
