Objectif(s): To better understand the impact man's activities are haveing on part of the Arctic environment;
Description du projet: The Researchers will collect sediments, algae and molluscs from the waters of Cambridge Bay. Three locations will be sampled: an area receiving drainage from the radar site, an area similarly affected by the hamlet and a reference site located away from the influence of both. Samples will be evaluated in terms of occurance, population and distribution. They will be analyzed for substances arising from human activity.
