Objectif(s): To establish the age and depositional environment of the Kanguk Formations; to assess its petroleum generation potential; to attempt a paleogeographic reconstruction of the Sverdrup Basin during Kanguk time;

Description du projet: The Researchers will study the Kanguk Formation which is the last major marine transgression into the Sverdrup Basin. They will establish the age and environment in which the sediments were deposited. Organic matter will be analyzed to determine the petroleum generation potential of the formation.
