Objectif(s): To collect lake-sediment cores; to analyze the cores for pollen and sediment characteristics.
Description du projet: The Researcher will collect lake sediment cores from Somerset Island and northwest Cornwallis Island. The pollen and sediment characteristics will be analyzed in a laboratory to reconstruct the vegetation and climate history of the past 8000-9000 years of these regions.
