Objectif(s): To interview Cape Dorset Inuit Women Artists for an exhibition; to conduct writing sessions; to interview Cape Dorset Inuit Men Artists for a future exhibition; to visit Iqaluit and Cape Dorset managers of sculpture and print co-ops; to observe the development of Inuit arts and crafts; to gather information so that unidentified sculptures from the National Inuit Art Collection can be identified; to take photos of the landscape, localities, people and document the life ways of the artists for the museum archives;

Description du projet: The Researcher and her team will interview Cape Dorset male and female Inuit artists for a planned and future exhibition of Inuit Art at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. She will also visit the Iqaluit and Cape Dorset museums and Cultural Centres.
