Objective(s): To complete interviews of the six women artists which were initiated in 1991; to complete the essays written in 1992; to meet with managers of sculpture and print co-ops; to observe the development of Inuit arts and crafts and to meet with the advisors and the artists; to take photos of the localities, landscape and people to document the way of life of the artists for the museum archives; to visit museums and cultural centres in Iqaluit and Cape Dorset to have a more accurate idea of their facilities, collections and programming;

Project Description: The Researcher will continue work begun in 1991 and will complete interviews with six women artists in Cape Dorset. This work will finalize research for the publication and exhibition the Cape Dorset Women Artists.
