Objectif(s): to quantify the breeding biology of the Harris' Sparrow, including clutch size, breeding cycle, reproductive performance, nestling growth, and physiological condition of breeding females; to measure effects of major extrinsic factors, including inclement weather, predation, food supply, timing of laying, and nest-site quality on growth and reproductive performance; to measure within- and between-year morphological and genetic variation in the population
Description du projet: Mr. Norment is studying the breeding biology of the Harris' Sparrow and White-crowned Sparrow. He will be collecting data on any physical (such as weather, food supply, nest-site, predators) or genetic (such as number of eggs, breeding cycle, condition of females) factors.
