Objective(s): The socio-economic assessment involves two steps, the preparation of a baseline report (ie., what are the conditions like in the region now) followed by an assessment of the possible impacts of the project in the regions and the steps possible to mitigate negative impact and enhance positive impacts.
Project Description: Data on current conditions will be collected through literature review of government reports, through telephone conversations with community leaders and administrators and, when possible, visits to the communities.
