Objective(s): To develop a palynologocal biozonation of Cretaceous strata in the Canadian Arctic Archipelage; to undertake taxonomic descriptions of new palynomorph taza; to assess the distribution of dinoflagellates and acritarchs under transgressive and regressive conditions; to attempt to relate biozonations to current sequence stratigraphic concepts; to investigate latitudinal variations in Late Cretaceous palynomorphs;

Project Description: The Researchers will determine the timing and depositional environments for the Hassel, Bastion Ridge, Strand Fiord and Kanguk formations.
