Objective(s): to examine the personal and professional lives of isolated post nurses and teachers, in an attempt to identify the sources of satisfaction and frustration; to examine the factors that affect adaptation and turnover. The project will consist of self administereed mailed questionaires.

Project Description: Ms Canitz will distribute a questionaire to nurses and to teachers in the Baffin communities. The questionaire will examine their personal and professional lives in an attempt to identify the sources of satisfacion and frustration. It will also attempt to assess the factors that affect adaptation and staff turnover. Participation will be voluntary and confidentiallity will be respected.
