Objective(s): to sample, map, and study pegmatite deposits of rare elements (lithium, cesium, beryllium, tin, tantalum etc.) in various parts of the the Slave Province and elsewhere in the NWT; to analyze and study samples collected in the field; and to prepare reports and maps of work performed.

Project Description: Mr. Tomascak is a student of Dr. Cerny. He will be mapping and collecting samples of granite to determine if they contain rare minerals such as lithium, beryllium, and tin.
