Objective(s): To conduct small scale tests using an indentor in a trench dug in sea ice; to collect and analyze sea ice cores; to use data collected to investigate the behaviour of ice in a sea ice environment.
Project Description: Dr. Nadreau will be taking samples of ice from trenches dug in the sea ice. He is interested in learning more about the changes in ice structure under pressure.
