Objective(s): To study the marginal rocks of the Muskox Layered Intrusion by mapping and collecting 100 fist-sized rock samples for chemical analysis along the eastern margin of the intrusion from Stanbridge Lake to the Coppermine River; determine the composition of the parental magma of the intrusion and to characterize the process of magma crystallization along the walls of the intrusion; undertake a reconnaissance examination of the entire Muskox Intrusion and its associated Mackenzie Dyke Swarm and overlying Coppemine River Lavas, in order to form the basis of a proposal presently
